The VBV training consists of 4 modules. Online modules via Microsoft Teams, classroom modules in Basel, Bern, Zurich, Lausanne and Lugano.

For beginners, career changers and staff in sales, advice or back office who distribute insurance products in Switzerland and require the legally recognised proof (VBV).
Since the revision of the VAG and the industry agreement, proof of qualification has been mandatory. With VBV you fulfil the regulatory requirements (FINMA-compliant) and create trust in the market.

Hybrid. Fundamentals online, practice on site:
– General skills → online (Microsoft Teams)
– Supplementary health insurance → online (Microsoft Teams)
– Non-life → classroom (case studies)
– Life → classroom (preparation for the oral exam)
Every month. Each monthly group starts in the 2nd calendar week with “General skills” and finishes after around 3 months.
In Basel, Bern, Zurich as well as in Western Switzerland in Lausanne and in Ticino in Lugano. Online parts via Microsoft Teams.
Standard in German; in Western Switzerland in French, in Italian-speaking Switzerland in Italian (dates communicated separately).
Reference values according to VBV:
– General skills: 30 minutes online (knowledge/understanding)
– Supplementary health insurance: 30 minutes + guided case work
– Non-life: 60 minutes + guided case work (property/liability/patrimony)
– Life: 30 minutes oral (on site)
No formal school qualifications required. You should be working in insurance advice or planning to do so.
CHF 150.– per training day and person. Exclusive company training: CHF 2’500.– per day (flat).
Teaching (online/classroom), learning platform (presentations, scripts, documents) and podcasts with exercises for preparation. VBV learning materials and any exam fees are exclusive.
Typically 13 days (gross), depending on the scheduling of the monthly group.

No, the reservation is non-binding. The place is fixed with confirmation/payment (details in the confirmation).

Yes. CHF 2’500.– / day (flat), ideal for teams. Up to approx. 20 participants (maximum class size). Contents/dates are flexible.

Yes, via the learning platform (presentations, scripts, documents) and podcast units for targeted preparation.
Yes, after completing the booked modules. For official VBV certification, the VBV exam is decisive.
Yes, we inform about the process / deadlines. Exam registration and fees are handled directly with the respective exam provider.
Yes, selected further trainings can cover CICERO credits. Details per module / date.

Via Microsoft Teams. Before the start you receive an access link and a short checklist (audio/video, quiet environment, stable connection).

Company and volume models on request. Exclusive training is often the most economical solution from mid-sized teams upwards.

Yes. The modules follow the official VBV profiles and prepare you specifically for the exam formats (incl. case work / oral).
